ABOUT THE PROJECT
Goodman Nominees Limited: $18.0 million
The project was mainly a civil and enabling works package for four adjacent warehouses in 60 Roma Road, Mt Roskill.
The total project area was around 10.4 Hectares and was programmed to continue through winter seasons.
The project involved 30,000M3 of cut and fill as well as around 10,000M3 worth of hardrock excavation and filtering.
These recovered “big rocks” were then used again to form a channel that goes around the southern perimeter of the project forming half of the whole site’s overland flow path. The other half of the overland flow path was formed as a concrete structure 250-meters long with 5-meter-high walls.
This also served as the flood control channel of the area as well as the subdivision adjacent to the site.
The Project involved roading, handing over large building platforms for the builders, retaining walls, 15-meter-deep concrete piles, footpaths, driveways, deep drainage transmission drainage, landscaping and several other civil works.
