UT THE PROJECT
Wallace Group Ltd: $4.5 million
As part of the Takanini Village Stage 3 development, we successfully diverted the existing deep sewer to accommodate the new building extension. Additionally, we constructed a new carpark and completed all associated civil works around the buildings.
These civil works included:
- Earthworks: Excavating the site to the required depth and ensuring proper compaction of the soil to support the carpark structure.
- Ground Stabilisation: Implementing ground stabilisation techniques to ensure a solid foundation for the new structures. This involved placing black sand underneath the carpark pavement and building structure to improve the load-bearing capacity of the soft ground.
- Drainage: Installing efficient drainage systems to manage stormwater runoff and prevent water accumulation, ensuring the carpark remains functional during heavy rains.
- Utility Installations: watermain, gas, carpark lighting and power and comms
- Carpark Pavement: Laying down a durable pavement surface using high-quality materials to withstand the wear and tear from vehicles.
- Retaining Wall Construction: Building a retaining wall to support the new link road to the existing building. The retaining wall was designed to withstand the lateral pressure from the soil and provide long-term stability.
- Markings and Signage: Painting parking lines and installing signage for parking spaces and to ensure smooth traffic flow within the carpark.
